Hydraulic fluid  
The external gear unit is designed for operation with HLP  
mineral oil complying with DIN 51524 1–3. For higher loads,  
Bosch Rexroth recommends HLP complying with DIN 51524  
Part 2 at minimum.1)  
Explanation regarding the selection of hydraulic fluid  
The hydraulic fluid should be selected so the operating  
viscosity in the operating temperatue range is within the  
optimal range (νopt; see selection diagram).
